Above is the trailer for a new documentary about Austin’s vibrant music scene: Echotone. The film, which is currently in consideration for selection to Sundance, features none other than Weathervane 2009 Project Series artist Bill Baird (ofSunset). The trailer features the band’s song “The World is Waiting,” too, and looks like the film is going to be very cool - it also features Austin artists Belaire and Joe Lewis (of Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears) Check out more about the documentary here, and look for it in the spring. Someone should make one of these about Philly!
